1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ThinkScribe ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ThinkScribe is a native application for Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch that provides on-device speech-to-text transcription, AI-powered summarization, and meeting intelligence features. All processing occurs locally on your device using Apple's Neural Engine and local machine learning models (including ThinkScribe AI powered by Qwen, WhisperKit, and Apple Foundation Models).

3. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ThinkScribe on any Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.

4. Purchases, Subscriptions & Refunds

ThinkScribe offers the following purchase options, processed through Apple's App Store and subject to Apple's Terms and Conditions:

Weekly ($4.99/wk): Auto-renews each week. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Monthly ($7.99/mo): Auto-renews each month. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Annual ($59.90/yr): Includes a 3-day free trial. Auto-renews each year. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or billing period ends.
Start with a 3-day free trial with the Annual plan. After the trial, a subscription is required for Pro features.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions can be managed and auto-renewal turned off in your Apple ID Account Settings.
Subscriptions are universal — one purchase works on Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
Refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. User Content

All content you create using ThinkScribe — including transcripts, summaries, recordings, and exports — belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership or license over your content. Since all data is stored locally on your device, you are solely responsible for backing up your content.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
Use the App to violate any applicable law or regulation.
Record conversations without the consent of all parties where required by law.
Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App.

7. Intellectual Property

ThinkScribe, its design, code, logos, and branding are the intellectual property of ThinkScribe and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

ThinkScribe is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

Transcriptions will be 100% accurate.
AI-generated summaries will be error-free.
The App will be compatible with all hardware configurations.
The App will operate without interruption.

Hardware requirement: ThinkScribe requires an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later) running macOS 26 or later with at least 16 GB of RAM, or an iPhone/iPad running iOS 26 or later.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThinkScribe and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
