ThinkScribe is a recorder, transcriber, voice keyboard and AI notebook for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, made by an independent developer in Europe.
Why it exists
Most transcription tools upload your voice to a server to turn it into text. iPhones and Macs are now fast enough to do that themselves, so ThinkScribe does: your meetings, lectures, interviews and thoughts are transcribed on your own device, with no account and no per-minute bill.
How it treats your recordings
There is no ThinkScribe account, and your recordings and transcripts are never sent to us. Transcription and speaker labels run on your device. AI notes run with ThinkScribe AI on your device, or with Apple Intelligence if you choose it, which is provided by Apple. Sync is optional and goes through your own iCloud. The app sends only anonymous diagnostics and usage counts, never your audio or transcripts, and you can turn that off in Settings.
What it does
Record with your iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch, or on a Mac record your microphone and the audio of a Zoom or Teams call without a bot. Read the words live, get a name on every line, and turn a recording into a summary, action items, minutes or a mind map you can ask questions about. Type with your voice in any app on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

ThinkScribe is designed, built and supported by an independent developer in Europe, and paid for by the people who use it: free to download, then a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase that covers every Apple device.
